Marketing Assistant

This position functions to assist in the execution of marketing efforts for the healthcare system. Primarily, this marketing effort will be under the general direction of the marketing leadership team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

  • Executes marketing plan under the direction of the leadership team.
  • Facilitates assigned marketing communication projects for the department
  • Assists with budget management, including invoice data entry, contacting vendors to secure pricing information and assisting to keep projects within budget

·        Compiles analytics and produce reports to assess program performance and planning options

·        Coordinates sponsorship requests, approvals and proper representation of the SRHS brand at events

·        Provide administrative support to the marketing team including scheduling meetings, travel, answering phones, developing and distributing meeting materials

·        Manages promo item orders and inventory

·        Coordinates digital signage and intranet content

·        Research industry news and events presenting opportunities to leadership team

·        Research and create internal awareness of new technologies that may assist in department operations.


·        A degree in marketing, public relations, advertising or equivalent experience

·        At least 3-5 years of professional marketing experience

·        Expertise in project management

·        Meeting scheduling and calendar management skills

·        Demonstrated computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office applications especially Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

·        Experience with sponsorship programs is also desired but not required.

·        Strong time management skills with ability to multi-task

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·        Problem-solving skills

·        Strong copywriting and proofing skills

·        Ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines

·        Ability to coordinate and conduct multiple projects simultaneously

·        Energy that will inspire and motivate team members

·        Adapts well to rapidly change environment

·        Detail oriented
